Just crank it in and make a few spin stops now and then. The current does the rest.

The Ryuki doesn't cast in different directions like a Minnow, but lets the flanks flash nicely during the breaks.

• Simply accelerate the rod tip half a metre at a time. During the pauses, when you re-crank the loose line, the Ryuki dances slightly to the right and left. There is no better way to imitate a fleeing fish in the current.
