The Deps New Highsider 172 is a very smooth swimming multi-piece swimbait. The new version called New Highsider is the evolution of the model from 2007, which was originally made of resin. This new ABS model now has a removable Lip that greatly expands its range of use. The flap gives the Higsider a very tight, fast roll when cranking and allows it to easily go over obstacles and weed beds. It is therefore very interesting when used like a crankbait in rocks and dead trees.

Without a bib, the Higsider has a wider swim area and can be returned at very high speed to simulate a fleeing fish, and it can be weighted "at will" to achieve the desired swim depth. A forerunner of the multi-piece lures, the Higsider has already earned a solid reputation in its original version and gains even more versatility and efficiency in this ultimate evolution.
