The brand new Steez SV TW 100 represents the top class of baitcasting reels from Daiwa for tournament use. It was developed as part of the Ultimate Casting Design, which includes the Magforce drag system, the 32mm SV Boost spool, the innovative TWS line guide and the new Zero Adjust function. The Steez features a 32mm diameter spool and the SV Boost drag system, resulting in longer casting distances and more precise casts. Compared to the 34mm spools of the 2016 Steez, the new 32mm spool has a 15% reduction in inertia. The revised TWS line guide offers 16% more passage area for the line when casting, but is narrower than the previous model. Thanks to these improvements, the new Steez achieves significantly greater casting distances compared to the previous model (2016).

The Hyper Drive Design System ensures long-lasting, smooth gear shifting and smooth performance. It consists of Hyper Drive Digi Gears, Hyper Double Support, Hyper Armed Housing and Hyper Tough Clutch. These components ensure efficient operation and a long service life for the reel.

The SV Boost System is a further development of the proven SV braking system (Air Brake), in which the brake induction rotor operates in two stages. The drag profile in relation to the spool speed is steeper than with the regular SV system, which significantly increases the casting distance in the second half of the cast.
