• The development of the Finezza prototype continues to progress with the latest technology from Olympic. The prototype has been completely redesigned and all models now feature an original carbon reel seat. In addition, advanced materials and manufacturing techniques are used to make the rods lightweight yet extremely powerful.

  Key features include:

  1. High quality materials: the rods are made with “Super Quattro Graphite Cross LV”, the patented “G-MAPS manufacturing method (PAT.)” and TORAYCA® T1100G, which ensures maximum strength and lightness. In particular, the newly developed Hard Solid Tip Plus made of TORAYCA® T1100G, which is used in the long Solid Tip model, offers even greater strength.

     Weight reduction through titanium and Torzit: A lightweight titanium frame with Torzit ring guide (SiC ring on the top guide) is used to reduce the overall weight of the rod and improve handling.

     Precise spigot joint: The spigot ferrule joint (spigot joint) ensures a particularly smooth and even bending curve, resulting in better performance when guiding lures and during the fight.

  2. Original carbon reel seat from OLYMPIC: The reel seat is specially designed for each model. The 722L-S and 722L-T models use the “OP-01”, while the 782LML-HS+ and 842ML-T use the “OP-02” with uplock mechanism. These ensure high sensitivity and reduce the weight of the rods, which enables precise and sensitive operation.

     EVA handle for optimum durability and comfort: The separate handle is made of robust and corrosion-resistant EVA. To further reduce weight and optimize handling, the handle section has been kept to a minimum.

     Overall, the Finezza prototype has evolved into a highly specialized, lightweight hunting rod that comes close to the high-end range.
