It has been around since 1991, and the Curado Baitcast reel, in addition to its modern look, is now even lighter and stronger than its predecessor, the Curado I, and runs even smoother. It has a powerful gearbox and an effective star brake. The spool features the S3D design, which effectively eliminates spool vibration. The ball bearings of the Shimano Curado K have a sealed surface and offer additional protection against sand, salt or dirt.
A new addition is the SVS Infinity brake control. Especially with light baits makes the fine adjustment, which can be made via the adjustment wheel mounted at the bottom of the housing. Shimano can thus offer a wider range of brake settings than would be the case with other brakes. In conjunction with the Micro Module System that reliably ensures constant smoothness, you always keep control during the drill.
